Steve Delesdernier was born May 22, 1987 and raised in the small town of Portland, CT. At age 6 he picked up his first guitar, his Grandmother’s old acoustic, and the spark was ignited. He finally got his own axe when he was turned 10. Around this time he tried to get his hands on every rock album he could. He took a few lessons only learning the basics, and abruptly quit because the lesson music did not interest him. So he started to learned all his favorite songs by ear making guitar his main focus. In his early high school years he helped form the band ‘Alkatraz’ with long time friends including Paragon Theorem’s own Josh Ingraham. “Alkatraz’ fell apart after a short lived run. Picking up the pieces of what was left formed ‘Torn By Addiction’ which also ultimately fell apart due to conflicts of interest. Steve jumped around from band to band after that making friends and fans along the way but never finding what he had in his early bands.
In early 2012 he made a phone call to long time friend and former ‘Alkatraz’ drummer Josh Ingraham. Steve heard he was home from California after a stint as a touring sound man. They decided to meet up and jam like the old days and see what happens. That session they discovered what they had years ago was still there. Paragon Theorem was born. With the core of the band being as tight as ever, they held auditions until everything fell into place.
Steve is also pursuing a solo career writing and recording instrumentals. You can check out his stuff here:
